Igor V. Kozintsev received his Diploma with honors in 1994 in Electrical Engineering from the Moscow State Technical University n.a. Bauman Moscow, Russia. He was awarded the President of Russia scholarship in 1994. He received his Master of Science degree in 1997, and his Ph.D. in 2000, all in Electrical Engineering, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). Since 1996, he has been a research assistant at the Image Formation and Processing Laboratory at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology at UIUC. In the summer of 1997, he worked at Intel Corporation as an intern researcher in Folsom, CA. In May 2000, Igor joined the Intel Labs at Intel Corporation in Santa Clara where he currently holds the position of a senior researcher.
